Description:

During my trip in New Zealand, we visited the Blue Pools, and along the track we heard a lot of birds sounds. We stopped for a bit to try and find the bird making all that noise. We quickly found out it was a Piwakawaka (or fantail in plain English)! As it is my favorite New Zealand bird, we hung around to take some photo's. The bird stayed pretty close by, and we soon found the reason why, it has a nest in the bushes right next to the path trying to feed it's young!
