We came across this Japanese white-eye when walking through the gardens of Kōkyo, the imperial palace in the centre of Tokyo. It had a lot of variety of flowers and plants, which caused numerous small animals to be hanging out in the imperial garden. One in particular caught my eye, since he kept flying near the berry filled trees. He flew from one to the other, eating berries as he went. I captured the photo during the short moment he stood still to have a quick bite.
